Not long ago, a potential client admitted that she’d wondered:

“With all these changes and this tech, are ads even worth it?”

In many ways, the answer is very much like…

“You can, if you think you can!”

And then my light bulbs recently went out so I had to take

Several trips to Target and Home Depot to finally find the right ones.

Why?!

Because the tech had changed.

Turns out light bulbs are constantly evolving,

And what’s in your ceiling today will not be in your ceiling tomorrow!

Advertising and most of marketing is exactly the same.

No more, and no less.

Also turns out the answer to this DIY project is same as ads being worth it:

So you want to see things at night?

Would you give up light altogether because the tools for it changed?

Throw in the towel and just go to bed once it was too dark to do anything?

Of course not!

Light is leverage.

Light lets has have 3-6 more hours in a day where we see clearly.

Light gives us the freedom and flexibility to do things

On our own schedule.

Advertising is the same.

In case you find yourself in a negative mind space about ads…

Don’t forget these two vital things:

1 Ads are there to ensure eyes are on your offers!

2 Ads ensure you share your service for people to help themselves!

Don’t you want more of both of those things?

Don’t you deserve it?

Don’t your audience and followers deserve it just as much?

If you’re carrying more baggage about it,

That’s not on the ads.

Advertising is leverage.

Every major business that lasts over time,

And reaches their primary goals,

Use advertising the best they can.
