I consider small business owners who use advertising to be Super Heroes!
It takes a lot to step up and commit to growing a business.
It takes a lot to invest capital in any form to expand.
It takes a lot to fulfill a mission that’s meaningful.
Believe you me, plenty of folks talk about wanting to grow,
But they just never get anything working,
Or stop long enough to create a structure for real success.
So I let those folks go at their own speed,
Fulfilling whatever other needs are most important to them,
While I can support the Super Heroes best.
There was just one thing that always struck me watching super hero movies:
They take SUCH A BEATING!
While most people are focused on the greater “war” –
Think Marvel’s 7 film cycle about the Infinity Stones war! –
Each film explored multiple people getting the blessed %*#$ beat out of them!
As an empathetic person, I watch someone get hit, and I can feel it.
Looked at another way, when a man sees another man get kicked
Somewhere very very specific
He too can feel it, even if he’s not so empathetic otherwise.
But that’s the thing about Super Heroes:
They take such an intense beating in so many ways.
And still they keep moving forward,
Completing the mission,
Saving the world!
Great business owners who chose to advertise take total control over their world.
They are stepping up like never before,
To do everything they can to find success, to create sustainability,
To make a new kind of freedom materialize for themselves.
And that deserves all my support!
It also absolutely requires working smarter not bloodier.
It’s about staying in the game, and insisting on winning it.
