As 2022 is now drifting towards its close, we start to consider our goals, resolutions, and new efforts for 2023,
All while enjoying the holidays and much-needed break.
During this week of both Human Rights Day and the Nobel Prize awards,
I’m reminded of two powerhouse goals to invite closer to you come January.
Watching the Adele concert and interview with Oprah last year, I was struck by Oprah’s use of the term “accessed life”.
Adele’s kid will absolutely have an access life…
This means he will have lots and lots of access that other people do not.
As we commemorate Human Rights Day when people’s access to basic rights is challenged or removed we see one side to access, while having Adele’s kid on the other side.
So where do you fit in?
Access to your ideal clients is what this is all about….
Access to the people you choose to work with, who are a joy…
Access to the people who need your services so thoroughly.
That’s what advertising is designed to do,
While marketing covers all the bases after people click through those ads.
You want to give yourself access to uplevel your business,
So you can uplevel your success, whether that’s financial or satisfaction.
You may recall another post here about people who “yell at their ads guys”.
For sure, I know that every business owner has their own version of this.
It’s not worth it.
Your ideal, beautiful partner clients are out there waiting for you…
As long as you put yourself out there to access them.
It’s like dating, right?

Clients and customers are truly the same.
While you can create access at will,
You can do the same with Excellence.
The Nobel Prizes are awarded this week for one thing:
Excellence.
Not perfection.
People don’t get awards for perfection.
In fact, most things that are award-worthy have some wabi-sabi about them.
There are many wabi-sabi notions, but the one I love most:
The perfect beauty of something because of its imperfection.
Doesn’t that feel like…
