And today we’re looking at ensuring your expectations
Become obvious,
So that your goals can equal real growth.
At first, I called this theme “Slow, Steady and Scalable”
But then I realized I didn’t need –
Or want! –
The “Slow” part of it.
I never dictate that when helping people with advertising.
Every business decides on how fast
They want to move and grow.
That’s 100% a choice.
It is however all about steady and scalable.
First off, let’s crush this myth:
Rarely will a business grow only upwards, like this:
More often, there will be far more
Peaks and dips.
It will be much more like this:
By the way, daily advertising works the same way.
One day you’ll get a lead for $1,
And the next you’ll get one for $6.
Over a month, you might however average
Around $2.
You don’t go ballistic over the $6/lead…
Unless your expectations are jacked.
It’s all about the long-term perspective.
It’s all about managing the highs…
And definitely managing the lows.
Because both have opportunities for you.
Over time, that craggy curve, if multiplied and zoomed out,
Will still be a steady, scalable curve.
It will get higher and higher,
But it’s never going to be a straight line.
This is pure business mindset.
This is pure Byron Kate: “Loving What Is!”
This is pure acceptance that you can enjoy
Every high…
As well as every low.
You can find gratitude everywhere.
And your curve will still
Grow grow grow.
Just remember, you decide
How fast you actually want to grow.
You can move slow, or
You can move fast,
And fail faster,
And make your curve go higher based on your goals.
No one else dictates that for you.
You want six figures?
Then you work faster to fill in the peaks and dips.
You want seven figures?
If you’re still not there,
Then you probably haven’t personally
Expanded enough to get yourself
To even approach that.
So just start by making the impossible become possible.
Everything gets better,
And the path shows itself to you.
