First Day of Autumn

Slower Advertising = Faster Results

One of my main goals for 2021 was to “slow down in order to speed up.” I had too many things on my plate, too many unimportant things that were not prioritized, and too much waste overall:

Wasted time, wasted effort, wasted thought without clear action. And to be fair, this was mostly in terms of growth.

The main thrust of my business, getting great ads systems in place for other businesses, was working very well and achieving its objectives and goals and people were getting great results. But I wanted to build something bigger and help more people, in different ways. But I didn’t need a bigger “to do” list,

Going going going at a rate of “hustle” instead of “heart and head”. For me this meant, slowing down, listening to the most important things bubbling up, and realizing I could seriously speed up by simplifying. And most people operate exactly the same way, especially when it comes to marketing and advertising.

Instead of trying to learn, develop and master ONE form of marketing, they will attempt to implement 5 all at once, all with almost zero results. We all kind of operate on the same baseline wavelengths, even if the details might vary from person to person. 80% of what most people are spending their marketing time and money on, just doesn’t work.

But a gorgeous 20%, the most strategic and understood and intentional, ends up working. Except most people don’t pay enough attention to identify that 20%. I really see this with new clients who are investing in ads for the first time.

They have absolutely no idea what their real numbers are.And it’s not rocket science! It’s setting an intention to find out those basic numbers, and slowly, methodically deciding to invest their attention to improving them. Most of this truly does come down to percentages. This is that whole thing where “numbers” don’t necessarily equal people, but they absolutely equal what your people are most engaged with.

Advertising is a perfect filter, “To reach farther, serve better, build a stronger brand, and achieve more faster”.

Let me know now:

What is the 20% of activity in your own business that gets 80% of the results?
Where could you grow and expand that 20% far bigger than ever before?

In ads terms, that usually means doubling down on testing content, as well as testing audiences. Winners always rise to the top like cream. Then it’s just delivering more and more of what people want. And here’s my greatest direction, especially for new students, that seems to move the needle as my own 20%:

1 Focus on “lowest hanging fruit” to get the fastest results and build momentum
2 Prioritize your next “lowest hanging fruit” So that you’re taking regular, clear, exciting and results-driven actions

For your People!

Perhaps your business has been growing in slow motion. Have you been focusing on your audience’s greatest needs? And what is that 20% that serves directly and clearly? Spend more time there, Slowly, Intentionally, and see what might happen next.

You don’t need to master 10 forms of marketing at once. You do serve yourself and your audience beautifully, b y mastering one exceptional one like Facebook advertising, to grow like never before.
